Radiative φ-meson decays and η-η′ mixing: a QCD sum rule analysis
The radiative transitions φ → ηγ and φ → η′γ are analysed using QCD sum-rules. At leading order in perturbative QCD, we obtain the results: B(φ → ηγ) = (1.15 ± 0.2) 10−2 and B(φ → η′γ) = (1.18 ± 0.4) 10−4, in very good agreement with existing experimental data. The related issue of η-η′ mixing is discussed and we give predictions for the η and η′ decay constants in the framework of a mixing sch...
متن کاملQCD Sum Rule Analysis
We present a QCD sum rule calculation of the spin-symmetry violating universal function χ2(v · v′), which appears at order 1/mQ in the heavy quark expansion of meson form factors. This function vanishes in the standard approximation, where radiative effects are neglected. For the first time, the complete set of diagrams arising at order αs is evaluated. In particular, we find χ2(1) = −(3.8± 0.4...
متن کاملCharm meson radiative decays
Combining heavy quark effective theory and the chiral Lagrangian approach we investigate D meson radiative decays. First, we reanalyse D∗ → Dγ decays using heavy quark spin symmetry, chiral symmetry Lagrangian, but including also the light vector mesons. Then, we calculate branching ratios D → V γ. We make some comments on the Cabbibo suppressed decays D → ρ/ωγ and the branching ratios of D → P...
متن کاملExclusive Radiative B-Decays in the Light-Cone QCD Sum Rule Approach
We carry out a detailed study of exclusive radiative rare B-decays in the framework of the QCD sum rules on the light cone, which combines the traditional QCD sum rule technique with the description of final state vector mesons in terms of the light-cone wave functions of increasing twist. Our calculation is restricted to the leading twist-two operators. The decays considered are: Bu,d → K + γ,...
متن کاملThe Radiative rare decays B → K∗∗γ in the light-cone QCD sum rule approach
We predict contributions of higher K-resonances to the radiative rare decays b → sγ, in the framework of the QCD sum rules on the light cone, which combines the traditional QCD sum rule method with the description of final state mesons in terms of the light-cone wave functions of increasing twist. Our calculations are restricted to the leading twist-two operators for K∗(892) and to the asymptot...
